Our adventure begins on the banks of the Bull River at the Bull River marina on Highway 80 between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. You'll review basic kayaking techniques, kayak fishing methods, and safety instructions before departing. Once everyone is familiar with the kayaks, fishing gear, equipment and state fishing regulations, we'll embark on a adventure into the Bull RiverÂs unique system of tidal tributaries.
Hunting the best fishing spots has never been so much fun. Silently stalk sea trout, red drum, whiting, and flounder while exploring one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on Earth. Try your luck with live bait including fresh white shrimp, mummichog, or mud minnows, straight from your guides cast net. Cast for the big one in the shallow tidal pools accessible by kayak or listen and laugh while your guide shares tall tales of the landing big fish and even bigger that got away.
Embarking on a kayak fishing trip is much more than landing your next meal, our fishing guides run nature tours too and make a point to incorporate many of the stories and wildlife discussions included in our kayak nature tours. So, keep an eye out for animal encounters and your exercise your ears with tales of pirates, local traditions and first hand accounts from the sea.
All fishing tours are lead by by local fishing guides who are familiar with local sport fishing techniques, light tackle fishing methods, and fishing holes. Sea kayaks and equipment, tackle and bait are included with every trip.
